Blinco's Restaurant was established in 1996 by Jim Blinco and Oakie Yoneoka, who opened their doors just as Hurricane Fran hit the Triangle. Some how, some way, with most of Raleigh without power, the restaurant managed to hum with the sound of neon lights and the glow of a mere 14 televisions. The made-from-scratch food, neighborhood atmosphere and outstanding service staff was an instant success.
Now, more than a decade later, not only do we have more than three times as many televisions and twice as much space, we still are committed to quality homemade food and outstanding service.
Jim and Oakie would like to thank all of our patrons, friends, and staff who have helped make Blinco's what it is today.
